hey!
I'm David from Philippines. I'm a medical student with some serious interest in web development. Its my hobby. I started off with html in notepad and then jumped to dreamweaver. I could design webpages and photo editing in photoshop and fireworks, but i had absolutely no idea about server side scripts and designs. i do read books about it in my free times, but i always wonder how the forms are processed and how is content personalized with username and password. how it is processed. I and having blast for finally getting the info from your podcast. I liked the content management portion in your podcast. its new for me. But glad to learn
Your 7 episodes gave me exactly what i was missing and expanded my understanding.

And by the way, I'm not alone listening your podcast, we are 6 guys here in our dorm who are your fan. you rock man! keep it up

do pay-per click
do pay-per click advertisements count for the click that redirects the user to the page or how many times the user clicks the advertisement?
Reason I ask is I was thinking about those annoying advertising games that one would find most commonly on myspace where the user has to click about 20 times into the advertisement to "win" and ultimately get redirected.
If the site owner gets paid per click and not redirect, then that is an awesome way to rack up their "dimes"- and also explain why those annoying things are around anyways. Unless only sole purpose is to "trick" the user into going to that advertisement.
