LifeSpan models are the highest rated of all electric walking pads across the internet, in terms of personal experiences, Reddit threads, corporate purchases, etc. I can't fathom what happened on Amazon, but it's just not accurate. As a result, I've omitted the ratings here.
Capacity
Rated user capacity is 330 lbs per the official spec sheet (LifeSpan). Amazon marketing copy lists 400 lbs, which conflicts with manufacturer guidance.
Horsepower
LifeSpan calls out a 3.5 HP peak brushless motor in the spec table (LifeSpan). The 2.25 HP continuous-duty rating on the Amazon listing is not a second opinion about this machine — it is TR1200-DT3/SC130 copy merged into that consolidated page; see the continuous-horsepower section.
No continuous-horsepower figure can be verified. LifeSpan's own product page calls the same motor both "Whisper-Quiet 3.0 HP Continuous-Duty" (features) and "3.5 HP Peak Brushless" (specs), publishes no watts or amps, and specifies a 115V NEMA 5-15 (15A) circuit — on which 3.0 CHP would draw ~23A and even 2.25 CHP ~17A, so neither circulating figure is a real continuous rating (LifeSpan, see /walk/guide/motor). The 2.25 HP on Amazon ASIN B0BMM58PM1 belongs to the TR1200-DT3/SC130 copy merged into that consolidated listing, not to the Pro we sell — that ASIN's buy box is the Pro (re-verified 2026-08-08) (one selectable child, "Omni Console / Black", $1,299, canonical title "LifeSpan TR1200B Pro … Supports up to 330lbs"), while everything below it is the older machines' copy (Model Number TR1200-DT3, "Maximum Weight Recommendation 400 pounds", "2.5HP … 350lbs", and two A+ blocks for the DT3 and the SC130). Most buyers think they'll stick with a walking desk but don't, so durable used LifeSpans show up regularly at a fraction of retail - you could save hundreds. The "wedding gifts" category: blenders, bread makers, treadmill desks.

Why we publish no continuous-horsepower figure
- The machine is the TR1200B Pro GlowUp (330 lb, brushless); only the horsepower figure is in doubt.
- The brand page contradicts itself (3.0 "continuous" in features vs 3.5 "peak" in specs) and publishes no watts or amps; the Amazon ASIN is a consolidated listing carrying DT3/SC130 copy (2.25 HP, 350 lb), which is where the 2.25-vs-3.0 fork came from.
- Physics: on the 115V/15A circuit LifeSpan itself requires, 3.0 CHP needs ~23A and 2.25 CHP ~17A at 85% efficiency. Neither survives; the honest bound is ≤1.5 (unverified).
