A dual-sided walking pad: flip Side A for a 4 mph walk belt, flip Side B for textured massage rollers (5 intensity levels). Non-folding rigid body with ~5% fixed incline. Notably short 35.4" belt and brand-site-only availability limit appeal despite the premium KingSmith pedigree.
Requires registration. Buyer pays return shipping.
The Technical Parameters table says "Motor : 0.75 hp Brush" outright (WalkingPad accessed 2026-08-08). Lineup habit and the manual's error-code list had suggested otherwise. KingSmith never claimed brushless for this model — the page is silent, not false.
$399 MSRP may be inflated -- product has been $299 since launch day (2026-01-13). No price history available (no Amazon, no CCC). HSA/FSA eligible via Truemed. Shop Pay $26.99/mo, Afterpay and Klarna also available.
Zero reviews on any platform as of 2026-02-17. Brand-site-only product launched Jan 2026.
Manual states "the incline angle is about 2.8 degrees" (p17), which converts to tan(2.8) = 4.9% -- so the "5% incline" marketing is essentially accurate. Fixed incline via rear bracket; not electronically adjustable. The non-folding design exists specifically to support this incline system.
The brand page's own Technical Parameters table reads "Motor : 0.75 hp Brush" (WalkingPad accessed 2026-08-08; same table gives the 265 lb / 43.5"×21.5"×5.1" / 35.4"×15.7" figures we already carry, so it is this exact unit). The "2 HP" widely quoted for this model is a marketing icon caption on the same page — "A sturdy frame and 2 HP motor provide smooth and stable performance" — contradicted by the vendor's spec table below it. 0.75 hp also lands on the verified Z1 Pro Hybrid anchor (550W rated = 0.74 CHP, listed as 0.75 hp), i.e. the same ~550W motor class as the rest of the lineup, which is what makes the 2.0 implausible on its face.
The 0.75 figure is the manufacturer's own spec; the 2.0 previously circulated was never their spec figure (see the horsepower section). Per the verified KingSmith pattern (Z1 Pro Hybrid 550W rated = 0.74 CHP = 0.75 hp listing) their spec-table hp tracks continuous output, and 0.75 CHP ≈ 559W sits well under the ~1.5 CHP a 120V outlet can sustain (/walk/guide/motor). No wattage or amperage is published anywhere on the page and no manual PDF is linked, so this is still unverified by an electrical figure — but unlike the 2.0 it is the vendor's own spec-table number and it is physically plausible. US units ship a 110V cord.
Shopify published_at date. Very new product (Jan 2026). No Amazon listing exists yet.
EVA & PET multi-layer system with "8-point cushion absorber." Standard WalkingPad materials, not premium.
No dB claim found on brand page or manual. WalkingPad claims 40dB for the Z3 but makes no noise claim for the Massage Step -- the dual-belt/massage roller mechanism may be louder.
Notably short at 35.4" -- about 25% shorter than the Z3 (47.2") and A1 Pro (47"). Width is standard at 15.7". Taller users will feel cramped.
Must loosen both idler roller screws with hex tool, lift belt edges, spray 5-10mL at center, re-tighten, run at 1 mph to spread. Lubricating oil and hex tool included. Frequency: every 125 miles. Process is moderately involved due to screw-based belt loosening (manual pp19-20).
KS Fit app via Bluetooth (manual p23). iOS and Android.
Manual only says "MASSAGE STEP." No alphanumeric model number found. SKU: US-WP-MASSAGESTEP (Shopify).

MANUFACTURER: Yongkang Saillan Technology Co., Ltd. (Zhejiang, China) Different from KingSmith's usual Changzhou, Jiangsu factory. Yongkang is "China's Hardware Capital" for fitness equipment. Likely a contract manufacturer for the dual-side flip design.
NO AMAZON LISTING as of 2026-02-17. Not on Amazon US, Target, Walmart, or Best Buy. Confirmed absent from KingSmith WalkingPad Amazon storefront.
DUAL-SIDE DESIGN: Side A: walking belt, 0.6-4.0 mph, standard walking pad operation Side B: massage rollers, 0.6-1.0 mph, 5 intensity levels (P1-P5) Physically flip the entire unit to switch sides. Non-folding rigid body (breaks WalkingPad's signature fold-in-half pattern).
INCLINE ANALYSIS: Marketing: "5% incline." Manual (p17): "about 2.8 degrees." tan(2.8 deg) = 4.9% -- so 5% claim is essentially accurate (rounded). Fixed incline via adjustable rear bracket, not motorized.
MOTOR: Brand page: 2HP. No wattage in manual. KingSmith pattern: HP = continuous (verified via Z1 Pro Hybrid: 550W = 0.74 CHP = 0.75HP). But 2.0 CHP is a huge jump from lineup (Z1=0.75, Z3=1.0, C2=1.0, A1Pro=1.25). Brushless inferred (brand-wide pattern + no carbon brush error codes in manual).
CORRECTION 2026-08-08: the 2HP figure was read off a marketing icon caption. The brand page's Technical Parameters table says "Motor : 0.75 hp Brush" -- so 0.75 hp, brushed, matching the Z1 Pro anchor.
BELT SIZE: 35.4" x 15.7" (900x400mm) Notably small -- 25% shorter than Z3 (47.2"). Width is standard.
COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE (dual-sided massage pads): Akluer 520A-B: 5% manual incline, 330 lbs, $300/$240 NNET Walking Pad: 330 lbs, 2.5HP brushless, 5% incline + massage THERUN Dual-Sided: 330 lbs, 5% incline, shiatsu foot massager WalkingPad differentiator: KingSmith brand trust + KS Fit app
MANUAL TRADEMARK ODDITY: Page 24 says "Dick's holds the patents of walking pad treadmill series products." Unclear if Dick's Sporting Goods, a localization artifact, or the flip mechanism patent holder.
