The TreadPad and TreadPad 100 run 1 to 1.5 peak horsepower on brushed motors with a 245 lb capacity and no incline, low on all three counts against pads at similar money, though the TreadPad adds handlebar trekking poles nothing else here offers. Two further Sunny machines sit in this catalog deliberately as counter-examples: the SF-T1407M flat-belt manual with its fixed 24 percent grade, and the gym-grade SF-X7110 curved runner whose controls mount on handrails you cannot remove. No continuous horsepower and no measured noise figure is published for any of them.

The deck is flat (not curved); user-driven belt motion comes entirely from the fixed-incline geometry, so walking against the slope requires bracing on the handrails. Includes "twin-flywheels" (Sunny's term for the rear roller bearings) and a small LCD that shows speed/distance/time/calories. Folds vertically; transport wheels at the base. The deck curve drives the belt (step toward the front to accelerate, toward the center to decelerate) and the 8-level magnetic-resistance dial controls drag. The LCD monitor and the tension-control lever both mount on the handrail uprights, which means the "skip the handrails at assembly" workaround that converts the SB Fitness CT250 into an under-desk pad does not apply here: removing the rails removes every user control. Tall steel frame (about 59" H), deep footprint (about 67.7" D), 157 lb unit weight.
