Not a desk walking pad. The 13.5% fixed incline is the belt's only drive, so sustained walking means pushing back against the slope and forces you to grip the handrails - the opposite of hands-free under-desk use. The handrails can't be removed (the upright posts are structural to the frame), so the SB Fitness CT250 "just don't install the rails" workaround doesn't apply.
